As the leading mobile phone operator in the country, Turkcell works with massive amounts of its clients’ data. To do this effectively and securely, the company makes use of large data centers to collect, store, process, and distribute data. Turkcell’s Gebze Data Center, located south of Istanbul, is one of Turkey’s largest at 33,000 SM. The data center currently accommodates Tier-3 spaces and is ready for Tier-4 Infrastructure. Key spaces are comprised of a 3,600 SM total indoor area with 2,000 SM of white space. Hill is currently managing construction of the center’s fourth module.
