Data4 is undertaking the Data Center 1 (DC1) project, which comprises the delivery of a 5,200 SM data center in the town of Paiania, 12 KM east of Athens. The facility will feature a 15 MW capacity and provide high-performance, agile, secure, and environmentally responsible data-hosting solutions for customers in Greece. Data4 aims to use artificial intelligence to improve the new data center’s energy efficiency and reduce the cost of equipment maintenance. The project is the first part of Data4’s plan to develop a 90 MW data center campus in Attica.

Hill provided technical advisory and other support services during pre-construction, helping plan the project, confirm feasibility, and secure required permits. Following a successful pre-construction phase, we are providing a full suite of project management consultancy (PMC) services through construction and closeout. Our PMC support includes stakeholder coordination, contract management, procurement management, cost and schedule management, inspection, quality assurance/quality control, monitoring and reporting, claims management, testing and commissioning support, and more. The Hill team is leveraging data center construction best practices to drive successful delivery in line with Data4’s objectives for the DC1 project.
