This ambitious 19-acre mixed-use development project, Nashville Yards, created a new downtown district in Nashville, TN.

The program delivered a walkable urban community featuring 2,000 beautifully designed residential units; 1,000 hotel rooms in high-end hospitality facilities, including a luxury Grand Hyatt hotel; exceptional retail and dining options; a four-acre entertainment district anchored by “the Pinnacle,” a 4,500-seat musical venue operated by AEG Worldwide; 100,000 SF of dedicated convention space; 3 million SF of high-rise, Class-A office space; and 7,000 parking spaces. The development project also included a 1.3-acre landscaped park to serve as Nashville Yards’ “front door,” abundant green spaces, pedestrian and bike paths, and all associated infrastructure. Located within walking distance of the Nashville Convention Center, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Bridgestone Arena, and the musical venues of Broadway, Nashville Yards also improves pedestrian connectivity throughout downtown Nashville.

Hill supported six individual “parcels” at Nashville Yards: one of two Amazon towers, the Pinnacle office tower, the Pinnacle music venue, a creative office mid-rise building, residential towers, and the underground parking and plaza parcel. We provided project and construction management, cost control and estimating, schedule control, constructability reviews, risk management, change management support, and document management services. Hill also helped coordinate between the owner, designers, contractors, and other project stakeholders and authorities having jurisdiction to facilitate collaboration, promote partnership, and help ensure minimal disruption to Nashville’s residents and booming tourism industry.
