Located in Türkiye’s Ankara Province, the Turkcell Ankara Data Center comprises 11,800 SM of dedicated white space to help meet the company’s data storage, computing, and cybersecurity needs. The project allows Turkcell to provide more reliable and secure telecommunication services throughout the country and internationally.
Turkcell has built the Ankara Data Center over several modules. Modules 1, 2, and 6 are completed and operational. In August 2024, following construction, Modules 3 and 7 achieved the Uptime Institute’s Tier III certification for concurrently maintainable data centers. Construction on Module 4 is currently underway. The project has received LEED Gold certification.
Hill has provided project management services for Modules 2, 3 and 4, helping manage design and construction and deliver high-quality, sustainable data centers in line with all Turkcell requirements.
