The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)’s procurement and staff augmentation contract delivers expert support as needed to fulfill multiple functions. This includes support for WMATA’s pre-construction department to assist with the management and oversight of existing/new master/task order contracts for Architecture and Engineering (A/E) and other Metro departments; technical writing to assist with the development of task order scopes of work; procurement support related to cradle-to-grave contract administration support, and managing/ reviewing invoices; providing business analytics; reporting; and providing procurement and contract management support to internal stakeholders and departments as directed.
As a subconsultant partner to a woman-owned SBE, Hill is providing expert Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) and Quality Assurance support. This includes confirming WMATA’s business processes meet FAR, verifying compliance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding requirements, and helping ensure lessons learned from WMATA’s program are captured and distributed.
Specific tasks Hill is supporting include conducting Expectation Workshops with WMATA stakeholders; developing the Strategic Management Plan; maintaining an action item log to track issues affecting transition progress and overall timeliness; assessing systems and tools; and Implementing training sessions for the team on the processes, procedures, systems, and quality plan.
